I'm so glad you've chosen Kindermusik to help your little ones grow and explore! I have witnessed first hand the power that music can have on children. I have 2 children of my own, who LOVE to learn through music! I hold a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Music Education, which allowed me to transform the lives of school age children through music and movement for nearly 2 decades. When my 2 boys came into the scene, I discovered the fun that can come with making music with very young children, which is why I'm now teaching Kindermusik classes! I opened Kindermusik with Missy in 2017 and the rest is history! I'm looking forward to being not only your child's music class teacher, but also your educational coach, helping you understand how your child is developing musically, cognitively, and socially. If you're ready to establish the foundation for a lifelong love of learning, you've come to the right place! See you in class!

I am a singer and a music educator from North Texas! I hold my Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from the University of North Texas, and my Master’s in Teaching from Lenoir-Rhyne University. I began singing in choir at a very young age, and played the cello until I started studying voice at the age of 15. My entire family sang and played instruments, so I made music with my siblings and parents throughout my childhood!

I have been working musically with children since I was a high school student, and have been teaching for over seven years. I have taught children’s choir, private voice lessons, and general music at a local charter school over the years. I have my own private voice studio, and sing in the Choral Arts Society of Davidson as a chorister and a soloist.

Now, as a mom to my little boy Joey, I understand even more how important music is to young children, and I can’t wait to share my love of music with you and your little ones. When I’m not working with my son, I love to read, listen to music, bake, and be outside with my little family.

I'm Hannah and I'm thrilled to begin this Kindermusik journey with you!

I have an Associate's in Early Childhood Studies as well as experience as a nanny and preschool teacher. However, nothing has better prepared me for Kindermusik than my own childhood. Warm memories of music filled evenings, singing at the top of my lungs in the car, and bouncing around at Kindermusik classes have inspired me to share this love of music with others! I've seen firsthand the developmental impact music can have on a child and the way that sign language, a vital component of our Kindermusik classes, can open up the world of communication even to the youngest toddler.

When I'm not enjoying music or taking care of little ones, I love spending time with my family, baking, hiking, or embarking on some sort of creative endeavor.

I can't wait to share Kindermusik with you and your little one!

I received my Bachelor's of Music Education from Ithaca College in 2013. Since then, I have built a music program in Colorado, and taught private lessons. My love of music started very early with piano lessons when I was 6 years old and I continue to play today. I currently teach 4th grade ELA and Social Studies during the week and I love it, but I am thrilled to be back in the music world on my weekends!

My first experience with Kindermusik was through North Carolina's Infants and Toddlers program where my son was offered an opportunity to join a virtual class. He has a mild sensorineural hearing loss, but he has yet to meet a song he doesn't like! Because of Kindermusik and our love of singing in our home, he is singing songs everyday and is thriving!

Outside of the classrooms, you can find me outside playing with my son and our german shepherd, baking, or crocheting.

I am overjoyed to join a program I love and work alongside you and your children to benefit from all that Kindermusik has to offer. It's truly a beautiful experience!

I hold a Bachelors degree in Musical Theater and Communications from University of Lynchburg and a Graduate Certificate in Theatre Education from UNCC. After teaching and directing Theater for over 10 years to children in grades K-12, I took a break to raise my daughter, Lily.

My husband and I recently moved back to the Lake Norman area to be closer to family and this is when I discovered Kindermusik. I grew up immersed in the arts and music through choir and musical theatre, and wanted my daughter to have the same experience. Through my experiences, and as an educator, I have seen the powerful impact music has on child development and communication. I felt an immediate connection to Kindermusik and its curriculum. Watching my daughter thrive musically, socially and developmentally re-ignited my passion for teaching.

Outside of Kindermusik, I am a licensed esthetician and I enjoy being with my family, traveling (cruising is our favorite), seeing live theater, and dumplings! I look forward to sharing my love of music and teaching with you and your children.

Hi, I’m Qwen, and I’m so excited to make music with you! Music and movement have been part of my life for as long as I can remember—I was singing and dancing before I could even walk. With a grandmother who was a professional singer, music runs deep in my roots. I spent over a decade in dance classes and competitions, sang in school choirs, performed in theater productions, and have led worship at my church for several years.

Before discovering the joy of teaching through Kindermusik, I spent over 10 wonderful years working as a full-time nanny. Those years gave me the privilege of supporting amazing families and watching children grow, learn, and thrive. I’ve always had a passion for working with little ones, and I believe Kindermusik is a truly special program that nurtures a love for music while supporting every child’s development.

I currently live in Mooresville with my wonderful husband, Chris, our two sweet doodle dogs, two Holland Lop bunnies, and we’re excited to be growing our family through adoption soon!

Music has always been a part of my life. I started singing in church at the age of three, and joined the school choir and band in the fourth grade. I learned to play the clarinet, then the oboe. By the time I was in highschool, I was competing nationally in instrument and voice and won many awards and titles. At around age 17, I began playing the piano for our church, started leading children’s choirs, children’s handbell choirs and eventually led an adult choir. I became the director of music, but then, as often happens, life took a very different turn for me. For the space of about five years, before I started with Kindermusik, I worked on learning and becoming certified in vibrational sound healing and recognized that using music and sound together would be so beneficial to our children of today. I joined Missy early in 2025 and I love getting to meet the kids and singing and dancing with them.

I am one of the very fortunate ones, who gets to live her fairy tale story with the most wonderful man in the world, Mike, and our good boy, Boone, in Huntersville.
