Meet Our Team

Missy Wilson

I'm so glad you've chosen Kindermusik to help your little ones grow and explore! I have witnessed first hand the power that music can have on children. I have 2 children of my own, who LOVE to learn through music! I hold a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Music Education, which allowed me to transform the lives of school age children through music and movement for nearly a decade. When my 2 boys came into the scene, I discovered the fun that can come with making music with very young children, which is why I'm now teaching Kindermusik classes! I opened Kindermusik with Missy in 2017 and the rest is history! I'm looking forward to being not only your child's music class teacher, but also your educational coach, helping you understand how your child is developing musically, cognitively, and socially. If you're ready to establish the foundation for a lifelong love of learning, you've come to the right place! See you in class!

Treva Motley

Like you, my parents sought out beneficial experiences that would cultivate my love of all things music! I am a vocalist and musician who holds a degree in early childhood and human development. That combination, along with my life experiences, perfectly places me alongside you on this Kindermusik journey! My life began with traveling and singing with my family. I then found something of my very own in 5th grade when I was cast as Dorothy in a school production, that lit my passion for the arts! I was a director of a childhood development center when my children were young. I then found myself as a top producing Success Strategist and Corporate Trainer for 14 years, but was always involved in arts education and community endeavors!  All of that led me to accepting a position as the director of a local fine arts school where I produced community theater.  I'm particularly proud of being a founding coordinator of one of the most successful children’s theaters in the region. As a vocal coach, I run a successful studio, having coached state and national arts competition winners and choirs! I have a passion to mentor parents just like me, who are parenting the heart of their young creatives! I have three children: 2 of which are adults: Rachelle, an accomplished photographer and nursing student, and Luke, a drama and chorus teacher. I also have the coolest 15 year old ever! I am more than ready and elated to share the Kindermusik experience with you! Let’s get started today!

Katie and her family recently moved to Charlotte from Seattle! They love trying all the great food, exploring the greenways and parks, and finding fun things to do with their two young kids. Katie has spent years working with children in various capacities - as a family therapist for children on the Autism spectrum, as an after-school American Sign Language educator, and most recently as a coach for the Socrates Academy Owls middle school girls basketball team.  Katie is thrilled to be part of the Kindermusik family and share the joy of singing and movement with you all!
