Our Policy

Home Materials:

You can access all of your music and ebooks at my.kindermusik.com and in the Kindermusik App. We will also have this month's physical CDs, instruments/props, and books at our studios for you to purchase to continue the learning at home! (Payable by cash, check, venmo or Zelle).

Kindermusik App:

You will have 12 albums & books (one for each month of the year) (plus other freebies) in your Kindermusik app. Click here to learn more about how to get the app: https://kindermusikwithmissy.kindermusik.com/app Make sure you "login" to the app to see all of your class specific music! If you need help with the app, please let me know! This is a great resource for you, you can even put it on your kiddos iPads, lock them in, and they can play the music, play instruments, have the books read to them while turning the pages, and more!

Makeups:

-Schedule a makeup class in your my.kindermusik.com web portal, under "account", then "makeups".

-Click on the class you want to attend and it will send both of us an email confirmation and you'll be all set.

-You can do this each time you need to pick a different class/makeup class.

-You can schedule unlimited makeups while you're enrolled, in any of our studios.

-You can use them anytime you want (doesn't have to be in the same week/month/year), you just have to be actively enrolled to use them.

-They can be scheduled 1 week in advance of the class.

-The number of makeups in each class is limited so our class sizes do not get too big, so if you don't see a class you want, it's because it's full. You can choose a different class or wait until 7 days before the class the next week and grab a spot then.

-If you cannot come to your scheduled makeup class, please go back into the my.kindermusik.com portal and cancel your makeup so someone else can have the spot.

Pausing Your Enrollment:

-We of course want to make music with you for the entire length of the 7 year Kindermusik curriculum, but we know that's not in the cards for some families.

-If you'd like to pause your enrollment, please let me know 2 weeks before the 1st of the next month, so I can fill the spot from the waitlist and make sure you don't get charged on the 1st.

-If you tell me you want to pause your enrollment with less than 2 weeks left in the month, you will continue to be enrolled for 2 weeks after you tell me you want to pause your enrollment. That might mean that your card gets charged for any remaining time beyond the end of the month, during that 2 week period.

-If you tell me you want to pause your enrollment on or after the 1st, then you are enrolled for the remainder of that month.

-I am constantly managing our waitlists, people moving from class to class, and which classes are offered based on the number of enrollments in each class. I appreciate you giving me enough heads up to manage all the things as efficiently as possible for everyone involved.

Illness:

I want our classes to be a safe, clean place for all of our families. If you or your child(ren) are sick, please stay home and schedule a makeup class when you are well. I don't want other families getting sick on my watch. Additionally, if myself or our teachers get sick, the whole ship goes down and nobody wants that! Thank you. :D

Locations:

*Cornelius classes will be in our very own Kindermusik Studio. Once you get here, you'll enter through our door on the STREET side (you'll see my trifold sign), NOT the parking lot side. We will all take off our shoes for every class. There are lockers, cubbies, or chairs in the reception area/classroom for you to store your stuff. Please enter the classroom no earlier than 5 minutes before your class time so we have time to clean instruments/reset between classes.

All locations have air filters running, restrooms with changing tables, and hand sanitizer for you!

**All Locations require socks to be worn by adults**

Distractions during class:

Please refrain from bringing food and toys to class. We offer a fabulous program for you and your little ones, so we want to minimize distractions. Having their hands and minds free to explore what we have brought to the classroom will give them the best chance at learning and connecting with their favorite grownup! Thank you. (Of course you can offer our youngest musicians a bottle/breast anytime they need it!)

Documents Needed:

There are 2 documents that you need to read and digitally sign prior to coming to class. https://kindermusikwithmissy.kindermusik.com/COVIDWAIVERS. If you already signed these in a prior month, you do not need to sign them again.

Facebook Group:

We have a Private Facebook group for Kindermusik with Missy Families! We post all of the pics we take as well as some other good stuff for you here. I also go LIVE in this group every week with a mini class! If you are not on Facebook but still want that video, just let me know and I can email it to you after I make it!
